I have tried everything I know and have been back and forth with a very nice person at ARRL and can absolutely NOT get LoTW/TQSL to work on my MacBook. Is it me or is this an issue no one really talks about?? TQSL says my certificate is valid, try to get QRZ and LoTW to communicate and QRZ says my certificate is invalid...EVERY time.

is TQSL not working on your MacBook, or is it that LOTW & QRZ aren't working together? Two different things...

If it is LOTW & QRZ, have you checked to see if the dates on the certificate match the dates on the QRZ log?

They won't work together. I have not really tried to log anything on LoTW since I never got past trying to be able to export from QRZ Logbook TO LoTW.
The message I get from QRZ while trying to get set up to export is "certificate invalid".
I purposely entered dates that were much later than where I started logging on QRZ and were later than when I requested the certificate .

i think the start and end dates need to match.

That sounds like a QRZ issue to me. May I suggest that you forget QRZ and carry on with LoTW - which is the one that "counts" if you are (or will be) a serious award chaser (ex: DXCC).

Yes, this sounds like an issue with QRZ, and not either the Mac or TQSL/LOTW.

have you tried contacting qrz support?

Don't know what else to suggest other than maybe deleting QRZ "cookies" from your browser and seeing if that makes any difference. I doubt it but it's the browser equivalent of hitting something with a hammer to fix it.

Well, if you get this figured out, please come back and post the solution.
