    my Brother in law lives in las Vegas and is wanting to get his ham certs,

    any one in that area that can help please let me know

    AES is your resource in Las Vegas. Also, there is the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club. I haven't attended a meeting for a couple of years, so I can't tell you exactly which night or where they meet these days, but it's a very active club. AES can give you details on that, too. The club repeater is on 146.94, PL 100.
