What is a good logging program to run under Win XP? I am looking for one that references Call Signs. I am running MicroLog but find it cumbersome....

    Any suggestions?

I've been using N3FJP's ACLog for the past two years and am very happy with it. It runs in XP and has a few different options for callsign references. It's not a bleeding edge Windows app. It does the job simply but effectively. In addition to the nice application, N3FJP provides outstanding, very responsive, personal support via his Yahoo users group. I looked at a number of logging apps and settled on this one and have been pleased with it and the company that produces it.

I am also using N3FJP and am very pleased with it. It is easy to use and straight forward.

This is really a FAQ and the common answers are:

Full featured program that does about everything you can imagine and more.

Very popular suite which doesn't only provide logging but also extensive transceiver control (CAT), seamless integration of digital modes (SPK31 etc).

    DX Labs

Mostly aimed at DXers. Logging, propagation helpers, DX cluster integration and much more.

Those three above are free (as any ham software should be!) and about the best you can get.

I use HRD for logging, in addition to rig control... Really like the logging aspect of it, works well!
