Ocean City Fire Rescue here in South Jersey, 24 years on the job...
Out of 60 in the Dept, only two of us are HAM's, I'm a General, and the other guy just got his Tech ticket.....(he'll be a General soon)...
I'd be interested in either a 20 meter, or 40 meter Fire Fighter's net as long as it's within the General part of those bands......

calling all motor men and truckies

OK finally got my extra ticket taken care of, so less studying more airtime now (baby and XYL permitting). I am in San Antonio and can hear about 50% of hte country on 20 meters most days. I would be happy to try and get a FF net going in the general portion of 20 and or 40. Since most of us are doing shift work ( so i assume) we would need different people to run nets each week. Does anyone have a good set of ears on 20/40 who would be willing ot be net control? I can hit most states and if others can relay we can run a simple net once in a while. I am going to set up a few polls on this thread, please vote and leave feedback. Thanks

EDIT: OK looks like I can't add a poll here so I will start a new thread in the SKED forum. Keep an eye out for it.
