Hello I have a 150 foot long wire strung between 2 20 foot poles my longwires center is about 15 feet in the air I use 300 ohm ladderline to connect it to my kenwood ts 940 & I have received great signal reports the hams I have spoken to can not beleive I am using a longwire. As for receiving it does a wonderful job. I live in Wisconsin & have worked almost the entire United States and much of Europe including France. This is a great antenna for any band. Sincerly Dan.
