I used the ARRL licensing renewal option where they submit for me. I sent it in back around 10 August. Has anyone else used this service? Any estimates on how long it takes? Suggestions/contacts at ARRL to find the status of the submission?

    Thanks - Mark Lunday, WD4ELG

FCC says your license was granted 7-14-2020. Not ready for renewal!

If you're asking when you'll get your new license in the mail, then the answer is that you won't. They don't send out paper copies any more unless they are specifically requested. If you do specifically request it, they'll print one that looks identical to what you could print at home.

Thanks everyone for your help, I did remember seeing that no paper copies are sent (although I can download a PDF if I remember correctly).

I now recollect that I requested ARRL to file in early July not early August (my memory is not what it once was). So it looks like they already took care of it.

Hope to work you all on the air soon.

A couple months just feels like it's been another ten years already.

Except that theirs are printed on recycled paper that will start to turn yellow in about six months.
