    yes they rotted away and what was left the fish & creatures ate, sad to say once the hull was breached & they found the entrance

    I had not read that part. They have several rooms and all are pretty pricey. I did notice last year they were booked every day. 73 Rich

    LOL l thought the same. I read the Hunley was only 30 feet down.
    & It was about 40 feet long

    Titanic is 2.4 miles down. And over 800 feet long
    No comparison.

    Cheap attempt at shifting the topic. 30 feet or thousands. We recovered the remains of the Hunley crew and interred them with honors appropriate to the time of the conflict. So should we tow the Hunley back to it's located spot and sink it again?

    The Titanic is more than two MILES down (12,500 feet). The water pressure there is measured in tons per square inch (over 5500 PSI).

    And the Titanic is somewhat bigger.
