It's refreshing to see a newer ham with such enthusiasm and great communications skills. Watching the screen display during a contact and all the information on it gives me some insight to its capabilities. And solid contacts on 20 w! Now I may end up getting G90
You're doing very well with your videos, presentation etc. I'm curious as to what you're recording with? A phone or dedicated camera? The quality seems very good.
So good to see young folks involved in the hobby. And a YL to boot! I was 18 when I first became a Novice. All the best of luck to you Leah. 73 de W1AL
Big shout to a fellow DX Commander there Leah, even with that little box of tricks your Dx Commander will generate some very surprising long distance contacts, when i was in the ww digi contest this mornig and having contacts with VK Stations, according to PSK Reporter i was hear by a FK8CE station which is New Caledonia island just slightly north north east off of the coast of Brisbane, yes it was FT8 on 40m and it was 06:56am GMT in the morning but when i run the point to point distance it is, Distance between IO84FQ & RG28RJ is 16223.43 km (10139.645 miles), and that is with my DX Commander with a less than optimal ground wire field, set it up right tweak it fiddle with it , and it will give you and the g90 hours & hours of fun and enjoyment, Kudos on the video Leah Kevin G2KS
Awesome, Leah. I own one as well: Loads of fun and easy to use. I'm usually portable with it out in my back yard or at the park, usually CW at about 5w. Hope to work you one day. Vy 73 Ken W2KS
