    Sad news. Larry Noldan, NZ9I, is now SK. Passed away on Wednesday. We was well known around the WI amateur radio community and the WI ARES/RACES community as a former emergency coordinator for Waukesha County and former District Emergency Coordinator for the SE District of Wisconsin. He helped coordinate several of the ham radio communications events for MS walks in Waukesha county as well as radio operations for the Waukesha Christmas parade.

    Lawrence “Larry” R. Noldan

    Born March 31, 1951, entered Eternal Life Thursday May 15, 2025. Beloved father of Lars (Pam), loving grandfather of Kira, and brother of Robert (Edna). He is preceded in death by his lovely wife Valorie and his parents, Robert and Evelyn.

    Larry had a long career with the Wheaton Franciscan Health Care System. He was well known in the Wisconsin amateur radio community as a former Emergency Coordinator for Waukesha County and former District Emergency Coordinator for Southeastern Wisconsin. He was a former Co-Manager of the MRAC, VEC Inc, and President of the Board of Directors for the MRAC VEC, Inc. In addition, Larry helped coordinate several events for MS, including walks and the Best Dam Bike Ride. He was devoted to his faith, serving Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in many roles, including President of the congregation, choir director, and organist.

    His family and friends would like to give many thanks to the staff at ProHealth Care and the Rock Steady program for Parkinsons. They also appreciate the many efforts and care of the Froedtert Medical staff in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit. His family also appreciates the very dedicated friendship and care Heather Schulz, and her family have devoted to Larry for the last several years.

    Visitation to be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at CHRIST THE LORD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1650 N. Brookfield Rd. from 2-4PM with the Funeral Service at 4PM. Interment Eureka Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Disease and or Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Brookfield, WI.
