I have a couple of problems when using JTDX or WSJT-X on a laptop, and wonder if anyone else has seen the same thing.

When the laptop is stable and undisturbed, it usually decodes every time slot.

But using the mouse/awakening the screen etc usually leads to missed decodes until a few minutes have passed and stability has returned. The problem may be worse on battery, which is a real nuisance as I'm trying to do some serious field-based WSPR research with VK3MO at present.

This only seems to happen on a laptop, and so I wonder if anyone has a solution?

Is your clock stable? I see guys on the air whose clock is wandering all over the place.

Are you using a signalink usb and if so are you using a POWERED hub?

    If not, you need to.
