I'm working my way through a large backlog of contacts, and am attempting to post this contact (L7507F) to my logbook (KE4ET): 11/09/2019 00:25 7.014 cw 200w 599 599. Except for the callsign being unusual, nothing special. But when I try to submit, it requires Receiver Info for L7507F or it will not accept the submission. Of course I have nothing but the callsign... HELP!

    Thanks,
    Gerald, KE4ET

Original reply incorrectly stated Brazil - herewith corrected.
The L7 prefix is assigned to Argentina. Uncertain but this callsign might be provided to a special event or contest station (as other such L7 examples exist.)
If you feel confident that you have correctly heard this callsign:

    Open your logbook
Enter L7507F in the ADD QSO box
Proceed to the Receiver Info tab and SET the DXCC to Argentina
    Save

Hmmm, LZ50ZF... No, I'm pretty sure of what I copied. HOWEVER, I've seen tired operators, particularly with bugs, throw an extra dit on things. It's a good theory. Thanks for the suggestion! I know I listened a while on that one, as the call sign was quite unusual. I had 8 minutes to my next contact, so I probably listened an extra 4 minutes before moving on. I tend to do that with weird calls! Wish I could see LZ50ZF's log to see that he didn't log me. That would be a clincher that he is not it. If he did log me, either he sent wrong or I copied wrong.

I'll think on whether to add L7507F to the database. I couldn't find it Googling.

    Thanks all,
    Gerald

KP4SX's suggestions appear productive as historical spots from DX Summit website indicate:

I'll assume I got the call wrong, and not log it. Going through my logs to get them entered here, I found I've worked LZ50ZF a couple of times.

    Thanks everyone!
