    Ernie passed away yesterday from a brain tumor he has been fighting for over a year. Ernie was a longtime friend and a wonderful person. He was an avid dxer, contester, rttyer, he did just about everything. He ran the KS4Q dx cluster. Ernie will be missed by all who knew him. Ernie leaves a wife (Tonya) and 3 children.

    Thanks for posting this Dave!

    I also posted in the silent key section. I hope to meet more of my brother's friends. He was helping me get started in amateur radio and I'm sure he helped a lot of other people too.

    I loved him because he was my brother and the youngest in our family. He was the go to guy whenever I needed an answer about anything electronic.

    He is already missed.

    So sorry to hear about Ernie. He was a good friend over the years. We were involved in setting up our DX Clusters and Gateways at the same time. We shared many thoughts.
    I will surely miss him !
