I wish to pass along the news of the passing of a long time friend, K0FPC Bob Davis.

Licenced since the 50's and an Extra Class holder in the early 60's, he was an avid CW operator, and tinkerer, most recently involved with weather baloons carying ham radio.

He was well known in the eastern KS ham community, around Salina, Emporia and most recently Overland Park.

I met him through our mutual interest in Amiga computers, and we prowled many hamfests together looking for that diamond in the rough.

May he be in that ultimate CW station in the sky, tuning an HRO receiver he was fascinated by.
