KJ6ZWL, Mark Dunkle sells aftermarket programming cables for radios under the eBay + Amazon name "BlueMax49ers".

I bought one of his cables to program an older commercial Icom and it worked 100%

    Here's the best part.....
He included instructions and links for the drivers
He even offers tech support via email and his cell phone
He helped me find the programming software

Don't buy unsupported pirated china knock offs, pay this guy the $30 and fugetaboutit!

Agreed! I ordered up a couple cables. One for my Kenwood worked perfectly. The one for the Alinco had some issues communicating. Contacted Mark and he sent me two new cables (one Prolific and one FTDI) to test and see if the issue could be corrected. Seems like the Alinco radios or computer doesn't care for Prolific even though it shows up in Device Manager fine, but the FTDI works great. Mark is fantastic to work with and stands behind his product. Found my interface cable source!
