Enough. Any reasonable person can see I was both complimenting PA2LS, and the concept of Kid's Day. The various meanings of the use 'Kid' in American usage and slang indicate the only weakness to an otherwise outstanding idea, by a young woman who has taken an exemplary leadership position to foster it in action. Your continued attempts to shame me are an appalling misuse of a public resource. I will not be a victim of your abuse. Read the 'Radio Amateur's Code' and try to realign yourself for a more positive approach to interacting with fellow radio amateurs. 73 Chip W1YW
Both of my kiddos (7 & 8) made contacts Saturday. They had fun, even if the bands were in lousy shape. They both were asking how to get their callsign, how old they have to be, etc, etc. Kids are so much fun at their age! This is a great activity.
Go away with your self-righteous nonsense. Nobody wants to hear it. Happy Belated KIDS Day to all! Hope all the kids were able to make a lot of contacts and gain some interest in amateur radio.
