Well, since no one has brought it up yet, Gary Farrano KH6WD a member of the Atlanta Radio Club has passed away on the Thursday evening before Halloween. He was in his early 60's.

My understanding is that he was in poor health and died in his sleep.  You'd never know he was in poor health by how much he was on the radio though.  He had a lot of spunk and was always entertaining.  He had lots of know how and knowledge from being an RF engineer. He could always pinpoint problems from your audio an help you correct them.  He was always there to talk to at 2 am and would talk you well into 4am. Sometimes 5.  Then he'd be up by 9am, ready to do it all over again.

What a character.  I know he'll be missed.
