Barely copied them a few times so far on 20 and 40. I wouldn't be able to tell if they came back to me.

I even tried the FT8 out of desperation. I get decodes from everybody and their brother but not the KH1. :(

They had good signals on 20 and 17 meters this evening, three contacts (CW and SSB, no digital nonsense here) in the log in the past few hours. Amazed to hear their signals after midnight!

Tried on 17 meters tonight, but no joy. Checked their log but my 20 meter SSB contact has not shown up. May have to try again. 20 meter CW has been a big mess.

Don't blame you one bit, better safe then sorry.

I got them 30 minutes after their cut off for the log so I'll see today. (if they upload today)

They finally were nice and loud on 30 cw this morning a bit after our sunrise for almost an hour. I even saw a decode or three on 20ft8. No luck on 30... pileup was about 10kc wide, it was difficult tracking them in the pileup. Tried a few other tricks but no luck. Hopefully they stick to 40/30 cw or ft8 in the early mornings...

Ha - it's a madhouse wherever they are. They were on 17 SSB last night around 0400Z working mostly W6's and W7's. He finally said "kilo 5 whiskey something?" I repeated my call a couple of times, and he said "is it kilo 5 whiskey echo?" I repeated my call twice again and he said "alpha charlie 6, what part of your call sounds like kilo 5 whiskey?"

    June 30 Update 1430z

"For the first time since we got here, we have had all 8 stations on the
air, and antennas are now up covering 6 through 160. Today was one of the
few days without a storm. The weather should no longer be a factor, as the
last 2 antennas have been deployed. We are still having issues with our
BGAN but are uploading logs via SAT phone; a slow, and expensive way."

"The team has settled into a routine of 4-hour shifts. We are all tired,
but happy to be on the radio and not building, or repairing things. The
weekend is here and we are all looking forward to giving out many ATNO."

I wish they would go to ATNO only after this weekend. The ones who spot "TNX NEW BAND" are starting to p-$$ me off.

Now you know how us westerners felt when (UN-) Heard island was on the air.
