KF5YV - Jabe Bailey

KF5YV Jabe Elmer Bailey passed away 14 April 08 in Mesa, AZ. He was my uncle, and his middle name was appropriate to our hobby. He mentored, and sometimes scolded me, in the ways of HF. We used to meet on the 7290 Traffic Net, then QSY for a chat. He held other callsigns, but don't recall any of them right now. He was retired from the US Air Force.
I am not as active these days, but everytime I fire up the rig, I think of Uncle Jabe. I will miss him.
