For Sale KENWOOD TS-870S DSP Transceiver.

This has to be one of my hardest decisions to sell this radio. I purchased this unit new from HRO sometime late 2000. It has a 10mil serial number and has been rock solid. Output is 100+watts. There is a little cosmetic wear on the front lower corners, light scuff marks sides and top (from normal usage) and a small scratch or two near the rear. Electrically it is 100%. The TS-870S DSP is not a light unit and I expect that it would cost for any shipping. I do have the original box (missing the internal foam), manual, mic and power cables. I have included signalink interface cable and jumper plug to match.

This radio is remote-able (such as RemoteHam’s server) via the built in serial interface with null-modem cable. This unit is stock with no modifications. The DSP filters provide excellent noise reduction.

I am asking $800 firm for the unit and the buyer pay for the shipping. (Like I said above the unit is not light - 26lbs. Outer box and packing could go up to 30~35lbs). I would prefer local pickup here in San Diego if possible. Inner box is 10H 17D 20W inches.

    Non-smoking and no pets

It will not break my heart if this transceiver does not sell.

Wouldn't you know it, forgot to add the fact that there is no returns due to part swappers and sold AS-IS. So if you need further information just ask and I will do my best to answer.

I will also consider swapping straight across for an operational Ameritron ALS-500RM mobile HF amp.
