I've owned this Kenwood TS-480SAT for about a year. I'm happy with the radio, everything works as it should and provides full power out. Tested on every band. I'm a code guy who occasionally uses the mic, so I like that is has a dedicated hookup for a straight key and paddle. It provides 100 watts power out and has an internal tuner which works quite well. It will also remember up to 3 CW messages, handy for contests. It fires right up, works well with an amplifier, quiet relays (nice that the transceiver can be stowed away and the control head is the only thing on the desk!), and has been kept in a NON-SMOKING environment. I've wired a cable to use with an amp that I'm including. Also purchased a cable to plug into the USB of a computer for use of N3FJP software (or any other you'd want to use). Lastly, I purchased an adapter so you can use a headset and a foot switch, included. Extras: USB interface cable for hooking up rig to computer logging software. Mic adapter for headset & foot switch. DIN adapter wired for amplifier. Microphone. 2 power cables. One with eyelets, one with clamps. Mounting brackets for rig and control head. Control head connecting cable to rig. The full manual can be found here: http://manual.kenwood.com/files/4fb9df09b7216.pdf I'm asking $750 Shipped + Insured. Continental USA only. PayPal only.
