    Thanks, This amp is easy to diagnose as far as problems go, but it is not as easy to work on as an SB-220 of LK-500 or some others because everything is more cramped. But as far as figuring out problems, that is the easy part. BTW.... a couple of years back I collaborated with Gordon N6WK on "cloning" meters for the TL-922 and we came up with a 99.99% meter clone. He sold several of them but unfortunately he died last year. I have been doing a few on a unit by unit basis. So, if anyone needs a meter please contact me at

    Shortly before he passed, I worked Gordon mobile-to-mobile (on Morse, of course).
