    It is with much sadness that I report the passing of Ken Manuelian, K1UM. Ken passed away September 22nd after a short illness.

    Ken was an active contester, dxer and accomplished stunt pilot. An oral surgeon, Ken taught dentistry and also had a thriving practice before he retired to Spring Hill, Florida.

    A larger that life character, we'll miss his awful jokes and his huge personality.

    Lately, Ken had discovered the joys of machine work, and had been building steam engines an narrow guage railroad cars.
