    Michael A. Miller, KD0PQG SK

Michael Anthony Miller, 57, Fargo, ND died on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Michael was born on February 12, 1962 in Harvey, ND to Marvin and Elfriede Miller, He grew up in Fessenden, ND; graduated from Fessenden High School and NDSCS; and lived in Fargo most of his life with his wife of 26 years, Robin (Brockman) Miller. They raised two beautiful daughters, Elizabeth and Kendra.

His faith and family were the things he treasured most. He was the first one family called for support and he always reminded us to “trust in Jesus.” Even with all the health challenges he faced, he never once questioned his faith, it only made it stronger. He was a devout Catholic who served as a third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus and belonged to Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church.

He was a patient, genuine, loving man who spent his life serving others; he always put the needs of others above his own. His caring and considerate soul led him to never judge or say anything bad about anyone. He never uttered an unkind word and always thought about how his actions would affect others.

His bright smile and kind eyes warmed the hearts of those around him. All who knew him loved and trusted him, he was a good man with a compassionate heart who was always willing to help others. His caring and gentle spirit led him to give generously without ever expecting anything in return.

He was also known for his wit and knee slapping sense of humor, a trait his daughters inherited.

He was a licensed Amateur Ham Radio Operator and a member of the Red River Radio Amateurs Club. For over 40 years, he interacted over the air waves with people around the world.

He is survived by his wife, Robin (Brockman) Miller; two daughters, Elizabeth and Kendra Miller; Father, Marvin Miller; three sisters, Michelle (John) Huus; Maureen (Pete) Knight; and Melissa (Paul) Huus; Mother-In-Law, Rosalyn Brockman; in-laws Ronette (Mike) Ritchie, and Randal (Michelle) Brockman; and ten nephews and nieces (seven of which were his Godchildren), Aaron (Emily) Huus and great-niece, Olivia; and Matthew Huus, John Huus, Kasey and Connor Knight; Kayla, Ashley and Spencer Brockman, Bryce and Jenae Ritchie; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved Mother, Elfriede Miller; and Father-in-law, Ray Brockman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Roger Maris Cancer Center or the American Heart Association.
