Johnny Lincoln Wallin, age 74, of Newport, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, at his home. He was preceded in death by his son Bill Wallin, parents Lem and Phyllis Wallin, and sisters Juanita Reed and Bonnie Lewis. He is survived by his wife Virgie Inez Wallin, children Jeff (Paulette) Wallin, Chris (Camille) Wallin, Shane (Julie) Hill, Hope Hill-Stuart, and Amanda Hill (Jeremy Strange); grandchildren Nick Wallin, Brittany, Joseph and Samantha Hill; Logan and Lexie Stuart; and Hannah and Cody Strange; sister Janice McAnally; nephew who was like a brother Eddie Rigsby; brothers and sisters-in-law Billy Ball, Jack (Joann) Ball, Larue (Sharon) Ball, Carolyn Ball, Janelle (Kenny) Trentham, W.L. (Judy) Ball, Brady (Kathy) Ball, Rady (Johnny) Raines, Robert Ball, Sherman Ball, and Dwain (Jane) Ball; special friend Jimmy McCurry; and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2017, in Manes Funeral Home with Rev. Sherman Ball, Rev. R.L. Warren, and Rev. Doug Messer officiating.
