    Obituary for Glenn Bursell
    Glenn Bursell, 60, of Lake City passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System Lake City Care Center. He was born on July 25, 1957 to Arlen Bursell and Lois (Goranson) Heins in Lake City, Minnesota.

    Glenn grew up in Lake City where he attended Lincoln High School. Glenn worked as a professional musician. On May 30, 2002, Glenn married Darlene Tanner. They moved to Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. He returned to Minnesota in 2014. Glenn enjoyed being a ham radio operator and had a great love of music. Most of all, Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family.

    Glenn is survived by his sister Jody Ogden of Lake City; nieces/nephews, Eric (Bursell) Decker of Winona, Shawn Ogden of Trenton Island/Lake City, David Ogden of Hammond, MN, Stacie (Steve) Patnode of Red Wing, Sharee Ogden of Lake City, Heather Ogden of Red Wing, Krista Williams of Red Wing, Rebecca Ogden of Lake City; and also many great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Heins, his father, Arlen Bursell, and his brother, Scott Bursell.

    A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Lyle Jacobsen officiating. Private burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
