Purchased an Icom dual band radio from him recently. He had an asking price on the listing; I made an offer to him, and he accepted. Radio arrived packed amazingly well. Probably the best packing arrangement I've seen from a ham-to-ham sale. Could tell he took special effort to be sure it arrived unscathed. It was in great condition and came with a pricey programming cable, software, etc. Really better than expected physically. Later on I found that the radio was not as described in the. The UHF side was not putting out full power into dummy load. After a good discussion, he did not have an adequate meter for UHF measurement, and stated he would be happy to do a partial refund or even a full refund/return. I like the radio, and have intentions to repair the issue, so I opted to keep and take a fair partial refund. His approach to the issue earned proper accolades online. Good conversation from him, and seems to be a straight up ham.
