K4Y - The Battle of Yorktown Special Event 10/18 → 10/20

With any luck, the weather will cooperate and I'll have some cub scouts on the air for JOTA from the scout reservation here. If so, we'll try to try. I haven't actually tested my portable setup on 40m before (which is usually where I pick up the stations for this event...we'll see!

 

I will be doing 10m, if the bands cooperate, FT8, SSB even JS8. Other bands also.

 

Marc approved me as NCS for this event. So I have activations planned for the technician portion of 10 meters.

Just did a search of 20M SSB and found them. Tuning around all I heard was NY QSO party everywhere. I just tuned till I heard someone that did not sound like they were from New York! Just luck, not "spots" consulted.
