Erven S. Friedlander, K4HEM SK Erven S. Friedlander of Pompano Beach, died on Friday, January 26th, 2018 at the age of 92. He was born February 1, 1925 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Charles and Francis (Nussbaum) Friedlander. Erv was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds and was happiest eating Skyline Chili. As a teen Erv enlisted in the Navy and served during World War II as a pilot and a radio operator. Erv had a long career in insurance industry, and eventually founded ESF Sales. Erv was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry, and sister Paulette "Pinky". Erv is survived by his beloved wife Nina, and her two children Vladimir and Irina. He is also survived by his four children Barry, Ronald, Jill, and Meg, and grandchildren Jacob and Allison.
