[IMG]   Just found this website and thought I would mention that K1STV passed away March 30, 2005.  He was Regis Mannion, from Tewksbury, MA, although he had moved to Seminole, FL in late 1999. He had not been active in ham radio for probably 20-30 years or more, but back in the 60's and 70's he just about lived in his "shack".  I am his daughter, Mary, and I can remember him passing messages along by ham radio during the Alaska earthquake of 1964.  Dad enjoyed many hours listening to chat on the ham set... for awhile he collected QSL cards from around the world... it was his enthusiasm that led me to obtain my novice license and join the Ham Radio Club at my high school (I was the only girl).

Very thoughtful of you ma'am. God Bless you and yours and my sympathies for the loss.

Thank you for your condolences... I always knew hams were decent folk! [IMG]
