K1D Promoting Kid's Day

K1MOM-Jeanne and W1DAD-Peter will be activating special event station K1D to promote Amateur Radio Kid's Day on June 15'Th.   For information about Kid's Day check out   http://www.arrl.org/FandES/ead/kd-rules.html

Look for K1D on 14.270 MHz. from 0000-0400 UTC. Other frequencies may include 28.380, 21.380 or 7.230 MHz as time permits.

An award winning K1MOM / W1DAD / K1D (Mom/Dad & Kid) QSL is available via W1DAD with an SASE.

A Free K1MOM Amateur Radio Coloring book with operating aids for Kid's Day is available (via email) from K1MOM@ARRL.NET. It includes a 50 state map for the kids to "color in" as they work various states and a Kid's Day log sheet. Have Fun!
