    Radio Amateurs in Puerto Rico are eagerly awaiting the 3rd American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Puerto Rico State Convention, again in the Francisco 'Pancho' Deida Coliseum in the city of Hatillo on January 24-25, 2015.

    ARRL President Kay Craigie-N3KN be present again, along with SE Division Directors Doug Rehman-K4AC and Michael Lee-AA6ML, Ward Silver-N0AX, Tim Duffy-K3LR, Charles” Chip” Margelli-K7JA and Ted Jimenez-HI3TEJ.

    Also returning will be exhibits from the radio companies Yaesu, ICOM, ELECRAFT, FLEX-Radio and electronic accessories R & L. Also ARRL/VEC Exam sessions and license renovations will be given both days, radio station KP4AW will be on the air, for the first time Contest University Caribbean Edition, amateur radio forums,a radio balloon repeater launch, Amateur of the Year presentation, various prizes and much more. Fifteen hundred radio amateurs are expected to be present at the biggest amateur radio event in the Caribbean, so why not take a break, met new friends and escape to Paradise.

    The general public is invited and entrance is free.

    The event is sponsored by the Caribbean Amateur Radio Group, the Puerto Rico Amateur Radio League and the Municipality of Hatillo.
