What is a "Bugstick"? It's a cross between a hamstick and a bugcatcher - not quite as good as a bugcatcher but lots better than a hamstick. I once published this information in an article for Worldradio and just re-discovered the original article on a floppy disk. For what it's worth, here it is. I have experienced good performance from the 20m-10m version and not bad performance from the 40m version. It's hard to beat the cost of a junkbox antenna.

Cecil, hello and thanks for sharing!

One not-so-good antenna is better than none, so I will also give it a try :)

Our junkboxes are our precioussssss :)
