Wowsers, Dave, another hit out-of-the-park! Thanks for all your hard work. Another great issue! Signed: Gary, WG7X Secretary, Radio Club of Tacoma
Looks great Dave. 131 pages! I am glad I bought my coffee and pound cake for tomorrow mornings read! Ronnie NZ4X
Bonjour et merci beaucoup La canicule (40°C) sur la France , j'ai de la lecture, car il m'est impossible de rester dans ma piece radio , donc je vais pouvoir lire The heatwave (40°C) in France means I have some reading to do, as I can't stay in my shak radio, so I'll be able to read. Best regards to you 73's
Good job and of course always what an ham operator wants to read. The specials with QRP rigs, which arent often in the focus, are brilliant last time and now. Further to spread the news about the open-source software, like JS8call, is so necessary. The whole thing is a gold nugget in the ham-scene.
Thanks again for the issue, the content is absolutely great I love the pictures of y'all enjoying Field day. The QST is nowhere near as good as what you guys make. I Actuly want to pay for a get the issues your club as put on and get them on hard copy they are just that good. I hope everyone enjoys the 13 colonies event
Another GREAT issue of the Logger's Bark. I really look forward to every issue. SOOOO much interesting material in every issue. The 'ham-standard' of club newsletters. Keep up the fantastic work !
Wow Dave! This is the first time I looked through one of these -- what a work of art! I have to say, I couldn't help but notice that you tried really hard to represent the ladies. I found that touching. Great work overall, very impressive. Mindy
Thanks Mindy - I appreciate the kind words. Yes, I make a focused effort every month to represent the members in the broadest sense possible. I take 99% of the photos I use (and I write virtually all of the technical articles) so I'm very immersed in the publication at all levels. You can peruse the other issues here: https://w7dk.org/2012-04-11-16-51-17 The Editor job is a 2-year comittment - my first issue was January 2024 and my final will be December 2025. But "word on the street" is the next Editor has been lined up and will make every effort to continue The Bark in the same fashion. Dave W7UUU
Dave nice issue. The projects that your club members are doing are amazing. Would it be possible for a future issue to do an in depth description of the clubs 'Power Company setup' used during field day and how about in another issue have Max describe his home brew Drone. Both of these items are fascinating and I'm sure that other hams would be interested in these items. Mike WB8VLC Salem, Or.
