i received this morning on 20 meter the following message
    nz1zje jd8wej co 21. screen dump attached.
I try to trace the callsigns but failed. Was this a hoax call or data collation?
Did you had the same situation?

On the basis of JT65 just over the border, the whole point of JT65 and data mode is garbled callsigns.

JT65 is designed to handle weak, not strong signals. Perhaps the error is caused by soundcard overload? Too much audio into the soundcard resulting in -1 signals--which is the maximum signal strength JT65 can report. There are at least three places to adjust the audio--at the rig, with Windows, and with the WSJT program.

Gibberish. No NZ1 calls with three letter suffix and grid CO21 is off the coast of British Columbia, Canada.

*edit* W1VT makes a good point about the RX level.

Thanks for the feedback. I have the audio in always around 5 dB and I can see on the water fall is the signals are too high nodulated
Also i expect when the message is not correctly decoded I see then * or other strange characters
PS JT65 works not only on windows :)
    Mac here in operation.
