Thank you for asking, I consider it an honor to be asked. However, I can't get an ADIF program to open on my computer because Windows stops it from opening after I download the program. I tried it with several different programs.

 

Dirk, the initial comment was about using ClubLog's OQRS to get QSL cards, like Many do - especially DX stations that will get hundreds or even thousands of requests. Card printing and mailing isn't free or cheap, nice cards cost money and envelopes / postage do also. The person who initially "Complained", citing FCC rules, himself blatantly asks for money for cards.

We do Not solicit donations or ask for anything from people except to call and say Hi and maybe engage in talk about relationships with those impacted by ASD.
We only ask that if you want a card, you pay something towards it. There is no Profit at all.

If you can pay for potentially thousands of cards to be made and mailed, then by all means help us with that and there will be peace among all those who want to express an opinion on something they know nothing about.

 

Many of our fellow operators, our friends, our colleagues, are in the autism spectrum. Many are brilliant. Ham radio is an excellent way for them to reach out, just as those without autism do without effort. Nothing is missing.

He is on the Spectrum (Asperger's Syndrome) and kind of a techie geek anyway...perfect for being a ham.

The fact that every human is different from one another is in fact, a fact. The representation of the figures in the logo shows only one figure that appears different. As if to say, most of the rest of us are the same. I believe most autistic persons feel exactly that way. As part of a minority. Autism may or may not affect how you appear to others. If I hear stations calling cq for Autism Awareness, I will answer their call.

 

QRZ page set up here for EI0WAAAW. I hope to get on air tomorrow and also other times across the month. No strict timetable set so probably better to set up a notification or a trigger on Ham Alert etc if you would like to try and make a QSO.
