    Jerry's legacy to the ham community

    Jerry's contributions to ham radio are enormous, in my view. His contributions seemed to me many decades ahead of the time when he wrote. I know that there are a number of hams, I am just one of them, that are replicating what he thought and experimented ages ago. I liked his approach, reading his unsurpassed masterpiece on transmission lines baluns. Experimental, but based on theory, with measurements and replicability. He was a truly ham. I wish I could have only the time to catch him on the air!

    I got both of his books, the ARRL one and his own hard cover from Amazon. Fast shipment too.

    I have been directed to his books a number of times .
    As I go looking , like Amazon books , I find that the prices are 5-10 times over retail .
