Jim, KB0TLC, passed away March 08, 2019. As I remember him relating, he was active in OMISS; activating nearby counties as a rover for county hunters and grid chasers. He has been the Iowa ARES District 3 EC for some years, and active in the local amateur radio community. Jim was also an active member and participant for many years with the Civil Air Patrol, where he was also able to utilize his radio skills and knowledge.
