This one is, I suppose, the successor to the old Biloxi Hamfest of the 80s (a pretty big event held at the now-gone facility at Point Cadet, I recall). Jackson Country, which has been going on for quite a few years now, is smaller, but it is a nice small-medium sized hamfest. It's held in the St. Martins Community Center, which is about right for its size. Anyhow, I hadn't been since the year before covid (November 2019) and am not sure it was even held during the Years of the Plague. But it's back, and the XYL and I drove over yesterday for a look-see. The tables were maybe a little sparser than pre-Covid, but there was plenty of stuff to see. And even buy--I got an 811A tube and a nice Heathkit grid-dipper. Good food, nice folks. I'll be back next November, that's for sure. Thanks to the OMs and YLs who put it on...had a great time.
