Yeah, but at least 2 old people live there. I say, let them be. I never had a problem with CB. Just a different critter. Spawned a couple of funny movies, as I recall. I gotta couple of laughs out of them. I'm happy.
CB was my first exposure to sporadic E. And that was with a cheap hand held and a 40“ telescopic whip,
That managed to talk very far away on a 9 volt toy battery. To a 11 year old very far away was Texas from
NJ! Then is was the curious stage for all it's dangers. Now you guys have to put up with a 12yr old
Lost in a 40 yr later kid.

CB SSB is alive throughout NH.
The local CB SSB clubs have weekly NETs on 27.365 LSB.
The "9 America" club has a NET 8PM on Tuesday's.
The "NH SSB Club" 8PM on Thursdays night CB
The get ~40+ check ins every week. A hundred check-ins is not unheard of during the winter.
They had a "spring break" and a "fall out" party/meeting with about a 100 attendees at each.
Just regular folks enjoying their CB radio hobby. GASP!
FYI - I'm the NET control station for the local 3 band linked repeater system held each Sunday. It's a good NET if we get 10 check-ins.

That's impressive. Maybe it's time for CB to teach AR a thing or two?
The CB NET control let's the NET run for at least an hour. Stations
give their informal at time of check-in. With the control station calling for check-ins when traffic slows. It works well for them!
What does "give their informal" mean?
Do they ID every 10 minutes also and act as moronic as the mess on 75 SSB?
Probably what Techs call their "personal"
