...as if it wasn't enough for the sun to be running QRP to start with...

    I saw this graph:

In an article earlier today. Maybe it's time for me to find a new hobby.

30 meter on the top of the waterfall - 40 meter below - rattatatatatat.

Looks like you may have some kind of RFI. I wouldn't expect a natural phenomenon to be so well-spaced on the waterfall.

I don't believe so - it happened during the last storm as well - unless there is something nearby that responds to a geo storm and emits RFI - I suppose that is possible.

You have to look at the positive aspect of declining sunspots in radio communications, Matt. It tends to favor 160,80,60 and 40 meters in the wintertime. A good resonant full-sized antenna will work wonders on those bands.

Notice the peaks are decreasing also?

Yes, that was the part that made me post the graph.

That graph reminds me of some speculation that the sun might be headed for another minimum in activity, like the Maunder Minimum.

So maybe this global warming we are experiencing is just getting ready for the cold weather in our future? :(
The Maunder Minimum occurred during some of the coldest periods of recorded history.
