On the Awards pages of QRZ your crippled or invalid QSO's for that given award are shown. Along with the "He said She said" reason. I just want to say up front that that I am aware of the fact. That just deleting it from my logbook would put it out of my misery and clear this recurring notice. But what would be the fun and aggravation in that. According to QRZ I entered "NY" (as their QTH) and the Sender entered "NEW"?? How can this be? The box for your "State" only accepts two characters....right. Since QRZ Help cannot assist with these matters I was hoping someone out there could.
QRZ would be happy to help - but your question makes utterly no sense. If you can reply back and speak more clearly (with less sarcasm and vitriol) one of us will be happy to assist. Just need to understand the question you're trying to ask Dave W7UUU
Perhaps the other op logged originally in some program that does allow "NEW"* then loaded the ADIF or whatever to QRZ or to LOTW. THEN perhaps QRZ performs less data checking on log entries that are loaded into QRZ from whatever path the other op used. OK, that's two separate perhapses but clearly, there is a way to get NEW into the state field if your explanation is accurate. *NEW makes no sense since it could be NH, NJ, NM, or NY. Or New Brunswick or New South Wales or . . .
Ok folks I do apologize for not being clearer in my description. And I can assure you that there was no malice mixed in for good measure. Or intentional sarcasm either. That was written the way I speak, and I won't apologize for that. Finally, the "he said she said" comes from a saying I grew up with. Where one person says something and another replies. It is just a saying and has no gender specific roles. Could be any combination of two people. Guys again I will apologize for the drama this seems to have caused. I do thank you for your time and ask that we end this here.
Sometimes . . . it's best to just NOT post anything . . . ...............Bob PS: Wait . . . WHY did I post this??
