    Does ISS FM crossband repeater's receiver have less sensitivity compared to just birds, for example, SO-50? I could work the latter with 2+3 el Yagi and a 5 W handheld (duplex setup), but ISS FM repeater seems not to be opened (CTCSS is right). Downlink is very strong, of course.

    Many people will tell you "no". My personal belief is "yes". This opinion comes after I attempted a late night pass with only one other operator, and we both had trouble getting in. And this was with a 20W uplink into M2s.
