    ARISS announces May 7, 2021 for anticipated ISS crossband repeater activation.

    Best results have been during off-peak hour passes - it’s not your TX power … it’s the scores of us trying to all access at the same time (grin).

    Update on the ISS crossband repeater. It should become active shortly after 1245 UTC May 7 (5:45 AM PDT). The APRS system will be off while the crossband repeater is on. A best guess is that the repeater will be operational for around a month before switching back to APRS mode. -ARISS
