Chinese Submariners do! But seriously, submersion tests are for oppsies (dropping in a lake/pool) or being used in a rain storm. I have a water proof watch I wear doing outside jobs. It gets muddy/grubby. I put it in the sink, under running water and hit it with a tooth brush (the wifes) to clean it. I don't swim or scuba to check out the Titanic.
