Still all blue on the AMSAT Status page!
Saw your tweet about working satellites on your recent European trip. Did you work SO-50 at night over there?
Anyone have a look at the SO-50 projected battery life presentation lately?
No, haven't seen one. Did you ever get Dr. al-Saud's number?
I don't own a Rolodex(tm).
I don't store my contacts in the cloud, either. <smirk>
No, there wasn't much "night" at 54 degrees north anyway, especially from a satellite's point of view. I worked a few passes of SO-50 in the early morning hours though. Eastern passes toward Russia were very quiet at 5-6 am.
Still working! Seeing plenty of reports of QSOs and have made a few myself.
The batteries are still in good shape from what I can tell. My 11 year old daughter W4AQT, standing on a park bench for more elevation, just made two contacts at 0238z on 9-23-2018.
AMSAT status page still showing SO-50 holding its own, day and night.
Wow, no offense guys but I ask this question 5 years ago and I'm not really sure why people are still bumping it.
