    I'm having more luck on SO-50 now than on AO-91, probably because there weren't as many people trying to work it.

    How workable is AO-85 with a handheld (D72A) and a duck antenna?

    Not at all. Without a gain antenna (elk, arrow, etc), forget it.

    I'm pleased to report that SO-50 is still working... it was quite lively for Field Day 2018 @ 03:33z under the cover of darkness.

    She has the shirt and everything!!! And.... she's is doing better than me on contacts. The shirt must be the key. :)
    I heard a very young lady on the AO91 pass around 2AM Central last night. W4AQT?
