Is it "73" or "73's"? I know the answer. Curious what you think

Maybe "73's" is sent as a "greengrocer's apostrophe" - multiple "best regards."

Does anyone even know how to send an apostrophe in Morse anyway?

Using CW lingo on SSB is probably more habit than anything else. I've been guilty a time or two. Silly? Perhaps. Understandable? Definitely.

    From ARRL:
" While Q-signals were developed for use by Morse operators, their use is common on phone, as well. You will often hear, “QRZ?” as someone asks “Who is calling me?” or “I’m getting a little QRM” from an operator receiving some interference or “Let’s QSY to 146.55” as two operators change from a repeater frequency to a nearby simplex communications frequency."

Except many old QSL cards have the same thing written or printed on them, not just HPM.

You think HPM was the only one with a dry Yankee sense of humor?

Well, with the season they’re having, the Red Sox could certainly use a dry sense of humor, be it from the Yankees or not.

It will take a lot more than that, though, to tolerate the tragedy of another Pirates collapse back into the toilet.
