After 26 pages of debate a spill was called, the Yes's 99 votes, the No's 1 vote. The Yes's have it by a clear majority, the motion is passed and hopefully soon forgotten about as we move onto other unnecessary topics to bicker about. ;)

    It's funny...

The vast majority of the folks I've put on ignore have been banned. So I guess I'm just a "forward thinking".

CNDX are bad (unless you run a gallon or stacked yagis) so people are looking for something to do

I run 100 watts to a doublet and work the world pretty regularly mostly on CW and some FT8.

Conditions could be better no question - but I get tired of this mantra that the "bands are all dead". Far from it, all things considered.

    "run a gallon"? Really? ;)

Damn. The thread was rolling to the next page and possible oblivion.

Yes - 1000 watts is a great deal of RF power - I get that (although I've never run more than 100 watts in 44 years as a ham)

But why use the CB phrase "full gallon"? that just seems so..... "Smokey and the bandit" to me

WOW. Never heard that term in the CB world. It's a legendary HAM term
