IRLP v3.0 board (parallel port) - Still useful?!

    I played around with IRLP a long time ago. Found my old IRLP v3.0 board in a box. It's still in mint condition with ribbon cable to the satellite port, and parallel cable still looks new.

    I was surprised to see on the IRLP website they still sell this kit for $105, w/o CDROM disc.
    I think you plug this IRLP into a Soundblaster PC card.

    People still build with this IRLP board?

    I would say it is useful.

    Are you sure that is a LPT port ? And not a controller port with a 25 pin D connector ?

    Do you have any pictures ? Or web links to what you have.

    I still keep computers around here with real LPT and Com ports. They are priceless.
