Dan Marler, K7REX, owes much of his professional opportunities and success to his amateur radio background. A people person, K7REX, likes to give back to the amateur radio community as an ARRL Section Manager and founder of the RATPAC, a group that does not include Sammy, Dean, and Frank. Dan tells his ham radio story in this QSO Today.
I thoroughly enjoyed your podcast. It was great hearing about Dan Marler's background. I've learned a ton the past year listening to many of the presentations orchestrated by Dan and the RATPAC. I applaud all the hard work they do week after week to pick great topics and speakers. Ham radio needs more people like Dan and the RATPAC who give so much back to our community to educate, inspire, and challenge us. The end result of their efforts will help us improve our EmComm capabilities, grow our community, and discover new ways to enjoy our hobby.
